Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3. Who Can Use BeeMatchr

• Candidates: individuals seeking IT & tech employment in Hong Kong.
• Companies: direct employers only. Recruitment agencies and headhunters are not permitted.
• Both sides must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.

4. User Responsibilities

Candidates agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate profile information
• Respect employer confidentiality
• Use the platform for legitimate job-search purposes

Employers agree to:

• Post legitimate job opportunities
• Respond to candidates in a timely manner
• Provide structured feedback when a candidate is not progressed
• Comply with all applicable employment laws
• Respect candidate privacy and data

5. Anonymity & the Reveal Flow

Candidate identities remain anonymous until the candidate accepts a Reveal. You may not attempt to identify, contact, or de-anonymize a candidate outside of the Reveal flow, nor scrape, automate, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our platform to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, discriminate, or harm others
• Spread malware or engage in hacking
• Post false or misleading information
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Circumvent platform security measures
• Pose as a direct employer while operating as a recruitment agency

7. Fees & Refunds

When a hire is made through BeeMatchr (Reveal → Accept → Interview → Hire), a success fee of 8–15% of first-year annual salary (depending on your plan) is invoiced to the hiring company, in addition to the cost of the job pack you purchase. Core candidate features are free; optional candidate add-ons, where offered, are charged separately.

Job packs, add-ons, and fees are non-refundable — including any unused job slots, Reveals, or remaining validity period — except where a refund is required by applicable law. Prices are shown before purchase, and by completing a purchase you agree to these terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on BeeMatchr, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes that affect your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms — including suspected recruiters posing as employers, candidates submitting false credentials, or spam senders. You may terminate your account at any time using the account-deletion feature. If we suspend or terminate your account for a breach of these Terms, no refund of any fees or unused balance is due (see section 7).

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeeMatchr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
